API compatibility is not feature parity: inbound, dedicated IPs and SSO are not part of this promise. Inbox placement also depends on your domain, your content and sending reputation.

Free and Starter have a daily limit (UTC) and no overage; the monthly volume is illustrative only. On monthly Pro and Scale, per-1,000 overage comes switched on and can be turned off in Billing; with it off, sending stops at the quota. Even with overage on, the safety ceiling of 5× the included volume applies.

Before your first send
I already use Resend. Do I have to rewrite my integration?
For the compatible sending flows, you keep the official SDK and only change the base URL and the key. We review your integration during migration to spot features that are not equivalent. We do not promise full feature parity.
Do you guarantee inbox placement?
No. We set up DKIM and MAIL FROM on the sending domain and track reputation, but the final classification depends on the receiving providers, your content and the domain's history. There is no honest inbox guarantee.
Is there a contract or a cancellation fee?
No lock-in. You can cancel without a fee; we agree on stopping the sends and removing the DNS settings where applicable.
What is the attachment limit?
The total per message is 1 MB on Free and Starter, 5 MB on Pro and 10 MB on Scale. It applies to the sum of decoded attachments, not to each file separately.
What happens when I go over the quota?
On Free and Starter there is no overage: sends keep going up to 50% past the daily limit, then wait in a queue, and new sends are refused only when that queue reaches 3× the limit. On monthly Pro and Scale, overage comes switched on: extra sends are billed at each plan's per-1,000 rate up to the safety ceiling of 5× the included volume, and you can turn it off in Billing to stop at the monthly quota. If you expect volume growth, talk to us first.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan needs no card: create your account and send your first emails without adding a payment method. Paid plans are billed monthly in USD.
Can I pay with Pix?
Yes, in Brazil. Send and Correio take Pix as well as card, in reais. With Pix you pay one period at a time: each renewal arrives as an invoice to pay with Pix within 5 days, never charged automatically. Correio's 7-day free trial is card only. Boleto is not accepted.
How does the Free plan work?
Anyone can sign up, with no seat limit. Each account sends up to 100 emails per day on the Free plan. For more volume, choose a paid plan in the dashboard or talk to us.
